TRIBUTE TO LATE DR OLUBUNMI OWOSO

Late Dr. Olubunmi Owoso, Rector YabaTech 2001-2009 and Secretary General, CAPA( Commonwealth Association of Polytechnics in Africa) 2012-2018 was a mentor and father- figure to all Nigerian Rectors at the time of his heavenly transition about a week ago.
In retirement he worked behind the scenes to guide, educate and inform Rectors on TVET(Technical and Vocational Education and Training) issues referred to him or that he came across on his own. In effect he didn’t retire using the tools of the modern smartphone. We remain indebted to him and he indeed lives in our hearts. May his gentle and noble soul rest in perfect peace.
May God grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss with grace.
