We learnt with deep regret the demise of our dear brother, Dr. Olubunmi Owoso. What a painful exit ! It’s heartbreaking to now refer to him in the past tense. He was a very cheerful person, full of life and ever so kind. A perfect gentleman, loving husband and dutiful father, he was a Christian in words and deed. He was a highly skilled administrator of international repute and was loved by everybody around him. He related to people with uncommon humility and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He would be sorely missed by all.
The Bible says in Rev 21.4 – “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away”. We are assured that Dr. Owoso has gone to rest with the Lord. May God strengthen and comfort Sister Joko and the whole family.
